What if stepping away from your career was the most strategic move you could make?
Bill Scanlan left a secure job, packed a bike and a belief, and moved to France to chase his dream of becoming a pro triathlete. No French. No plan. Just purpose.
Three years later, after turning pro, winning races like the Mont Ventoux triathlon, and building a life around performance, Bill returned to the corporate world with a new perspective.
Today, he’s a Partner at Ernst & Young, leading EY’s WA Government and Infrastructure Advisory teams. He works across sectors helping shape major investment and policy decisions, while still training like an elite athlete.
In this episode, we talk about performance, purpose and leadership, the kind that doesn’t chase the spotlight, but quietly builds futures.
