John is the Founder & Director of Peak Consultancy (2001), with a focus on five key areas: Coach, Mentor, Consultant, Leadership and a strong Mission strategy for leaders and their development. He offers considerable across-the-board commercial experience and life skills. This quality business is the bedrock upon which the WA operation is built.
John's focus is with both Church and Business Leaders in Australia and Overseas. He is a trained facilitator with NCD, Trained Coach with CoachNet and Ministry Advantage. He has also travelled throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Singapore as a Keynote Speaker.
He also understands small business from the sharp end, and has, over the past 25 years, built Peak Consultancy to the point where it has a credible, respected and accepted place in the WA marketplace.
John has a pioneering spirit, puts his hand up to drive start-up projects and takes on challenges of exceptional commercial difficulty. The many successes include leading an organisation that had lost its core ethos and was suffering from a very dysfunctional management structure through to a completely reengineered and highly motivated entity within 12 months. Change management is his forte, coupled with coaching skills in both the boardroom and on the field of play.
John has discovered - to his cost as well as to his advantage -that the experience of making mistakes is all part of growth, building understanding and effecting necessary changes. Failure and rejection at one part of his corporate life led to a process of his own internal review and acceptance that drives alone is not enough. He consciously developed the human, man-management qualities he needed to balance his natural commercial spirit and ambition.
